alfonsoProf. Dr. D. Alfonso Aguilar González. He defended his doctoral philosophical dissertation on Plato at Regina Apostolorum Pontifical University in Rome (1999). He holds a M.A. in Bioethics and a B.A. in Theology. In 1988 he was ordained as a priest by Cardinal Angelo Sodano in Rome. He taught Metaphysics and Epistemology in Thornwood, New York (1997-2003), as well as Logic and Introduction to Philosophy in Rome (2003-2011). His philosophical research and publications revolve, first, around the metaphysical and ethical concept of relationality as opposed to an individualistic culture. They are also focused on the renewal of epistemological realism and apologetics so as to provide reasons about the Christian faith to a relativistic, secularized, and gnostic world. He has taught courses and lectures on philosophy, apologetics, and spirituality in several European countries (Spain, Italy, Ireland, Hungary, Austria and Norway), the Americas (Canada, USA, Mexico, Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru and Brazil), and India.
